Stories this week...
This week we are focusing on position words with the story/song "Going on A Bear Hunt". This is a fun song to sing with your children at home. You can also practice going over, under, around and through different places in your house.

Bears, Bears Everywhere!
This month in EDC we are learning all about bears and animals. We have been reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. & Eric Carle. If you read this story with your child, play a game!
Can you pretend to be an animal? Show me what a red bird does (flap, flap). Can you be a duck? (waddle, waddle). Have fun, and enjoy the story.
Real bears are awesome too! Check out this video of a mama and her baby polar bears waking up from hibernating.

Hallowe'en in EDC!
This week in EDC, we have been doing spoooky Hallowe'en activities!
We played the 'Spider on the Floor' game, and read books like The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything (YouTube link) and Go Away, Big Green Monster! (YouTube link).
We made pumpkins that show how we are feeling.
On Thursday, we are going to dress up for our school Halloween Parade!
Here are some of our favourite Hallowe'en songs to sing together at home:
